David Rogers enlisted in the Army in 2006, and honorably discharged in 2013 after his third deployment overseas. He is grateful for his seven years in, and all that it had to offer. All of the good, and all of the bad helped mold him into who he is today. Every experience and every person he met was meant to teach him something and help square his actions. Not everything has to make sense at first, but after enough time it’ll sort out. He believes that life is a series of tests, and how we handle those tests define our character.
Since leaving the U.S. Army he has been working on his Bachelor of Science in Marketing at Columbia College of Missouri-San Diego, and is working on his law school applications for Fall of 2018. His best friend is a year-and-a-half old Schnauzer named Bragg, after Fort Bragg, NC. The Army base will always hold a special place in David’s heart, so he felt it was appropriate to name his pup after his duty station. In David’s free time he enjoys taking Bragg to the dog beach, participating in his Masonic lodge, and writing.
